ICELAND, PART II
ii) The first stop: Volcanic Crater
After an hour drive, we arrived at our first stop: this Volcanic Crater whose name I fail to remember. (I’m really, really bad with names in case you have not noticed yet.) So let’s call it… The Volcanic Crater.
It was super windy up there and the sun was just coming out around 10.50 am. I don’t understand how the Icelandic people manage to even open their eyes in the morning. It felt so weird in the mornings… it felt like we were waking up at 5 am when it was actually like 10.30. Anyshways.
So The Volcanic Crater was all cool but there wasn’t much action (don’t we all wish it suddenly erupted at that moment? I’d have been the happiest - I have a thing for volcanoes.) The wind was unbearable so we decided to take a couple photos (I took like 6 bazillion) and head for our next stop: The Geyser. (Names, again. Sorry guys.)
